Beijing Tiantan Hospital Neurosurgery Endoscopic Technology Finalist

　　The “Neurosurgical Endoscopy Finalist” was successfully held on August 6,2024, Xishan presented Surgical Power Device and 4K UHD Endoscopy System at the competition.

　　The finals featured 18 categories, each consisting of 2 participants who needed to compete in two skill challenges: bag retrieval” and “fine carving”

　　After intense competition, the expert evaluation panel awarded first prize to nine departments based on the participants' performance and skills, including the Neurosurgical Tumor Ward 2, Neurosurgical Tumor Ward 7, Spinal Cord and Spine Ward, and Pediatric Neurosurgery Ward.

　　The First Xuanwu Endoscopic Transorbital Approach Anatomy and Surgery Seminar

　　In recent years, endoscopic transorbital approach, as an emerging surgical approach in the field of endoscopic skull base surgery, has gradually become a new option for minimally invasive surgery of skull base lesions. In order to learn the anatomical basis of this approach, applicable diseases, operation procedures, and complication prevention and treatment, the Neuroscience Ophthalmology and Orbital Disease Center of Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University,successfully held the “The First Xuanwu Endoscopic Transorbital Approach Anatomy and Surgery Seminar and INIMAX Cranio-Orbital Anatomy Seminar” on August 22-23, 2024.

　　The seminar invited Professors Li Mingchu, Zhang Xuxiang, and Mai Kaijun to share their insights on the endoscopic transorbital approach and perform anatomical demonstration.Duringthe two-day theoretical and practical lectures, the participants actively participated in the discussions and deepened their understanding of the cutting-edge knowledge in neurosurgery.

　　The Third Endoscopic Neurosurgery Anatomy Training Course

　　On August 3rd, the Third Endoscopic Neurosurgery Anatomy Training Course was successfully taken place. The training focused on the use of neurosurgical dynamic devices, anatomy of the third ventricle, and the anatomy of the cavernous sinus and middle cranial fossa. Xishan presented comprehensive technical support with 4K UHD Endoscopy System and Surgical Power Device throughout the course. Participating experts and trainees praised Xishan's 4K endoscopes for ultra-high-definition images, and the power system's slim trans-nasal skullbase bur handpiece and the convenience of LJM series which can be connected with micromotor directly without handpiece.
